Supporting Abu Dhabi’s 2030 Vision through direct contribution to the Emirate’s social and human development and the creation of a sustainable, knowledge-based nation.
Trojan Construction Group conducts an initiative called 100 Trojan Young Engineers that aims to host engineering students from different universities to spend one full day with Trojan’s in-house engineers. Students will be encouraged to grasp the day-to-day activities and gain an insight into how work will be after university, through a rich program including construction site tours.
Trojan Construction Group's Managing Director, Eng. Hamad is running this CSR initiative as part of his personal mission. This program gives back to the community, through providing a platform for students to step into their practical life and be exposed to the right medium from international and local expertise of engineering.
CYCLE 1: The first cycle of ‘100 Trojan Young Engineers’ saw multiple site visits at Tamouh Investments’ Horizon Towers on Reem Island, Abu Dhabi, and Lu’luat Al Raha at Al Raha Beach, Abu Dhabi, which is owned by International Capital Trading.
CYCLE 2: During the second cycle, ‘100 Trojan Young Engineers’ students visited Emaar’s Mira Oasis 2 site in Al Qudra, Dubai, where they were provided with real-life engineering experience that exposed them to the practical aspect of the theoretical material taught in class.
CYCLE 3: The third group of students visited the site of the Maple 3 Development in Dubai Hills, where 562 villas are currently under construction, where they were talked through the various stages of the construction process, from start through completion. Students were able to gain first-hand experience of the day-to-day activities on a construction site and get an insight into the different types of roles that are associated with a project. Following a friendly competition, seven students were awarded a six-week internship at Trojan Holding.
